From First Congregational Church, 241 Cedar Avenue, to the beach at Ocean Ave. and Junipero St., Long Beach (< 2 miles)

1. Head south on N Cedar Avenue.

2. Turn left onto W Broadway.

3. Take the 1st right onto Pacific Avenue. Go ~ 3 blocks.

4. Turn left onto W Ocean Blvd.

5. After .6 mile, you’ll come to Atlantic Ave. Cross Atlantic, stay on Ocean Blvd., which bears left a little, then straightens out. Go another 1.0 mile.

6. Turn right onto Junipero Avenue, go down small hill, enter oceanfront parking lot. Park at far left end of meter area. Bring quarters! Gather on beach.

1. Go up hill to leave parking lot, turn left onto Ocean Blvd. Go 1.6 miles.

2. Turn right onto Pacific Ave.

3. Turn left onto W. Broadway.
